minor retail indiscretion
i finally gave in.
was back at Primark to obtain a refund for them double-charging me on a pullover (they actually checked the CCTV to ensure i was telling the truth). it was supposed to be a simple transaction: go in, get the refund, get out.
but no, i ended up wandering across to the coat section and caving in to the grey coat. and all the time, evil thoughts like 'u can always return it if you change ur mind' and 'you can't find it cheaper elsewhere' were floating through my mind. (hmm... they might have come in the form of a voice that resembled ec's. hahaha. sorry ger!)
so yes, i ended up getting it and actually lugged it in a big paper bag for a meeting with yet another recruitment agent. me in my zara suit with formal document bag. boy, was that embarassing. i never felt more like a shopaholic.
i wonder if i can claim VAT on all my purchases

k leave it at the " you can't find it any cheaper elsewhere" thought. that's pretty assuring:)
hahaha. i followed our 'íf u go home and u're still thinking abt it, u should get it' shopping mantra.
so glad to know tt im always on ur mind even when u're shopping alone across the ocean... :p
( n i think JG hates me for being a rational influence on ur shopping!)
