Autumn '08

I realise I've only experienced two seasons - summer and winter. Somehow, i've never been to a country during springtime or fall. they're the in-between seasons.
It's autumn in London now, and the air is slightly nippy. It's not enough to walk around in jeans and a long-sleeved tee. and yet, it's not so cold as to warrant a thick wool coat. Armed with the thought 'I refuse to freeze before it hits winter', J went shopping to equip herself with clothing for the 'not quite summer, yet not quite winter' seasons. And I figured 'hey, they should be good buys, since summer in London lasts barely 2 weeks. I'd probably be spending most of my time in these new clothes'
Off I went to Primark, this big departmental store with lotsa cheap clothing and shoes. (If you remember my super high black shoes with shiny mirror-like heels, I got them here for GBP 7, making it slightly less than SGD$20) well, i ended up getting a leather jacket, two hoodies, a wool (cashmere feel) pullover and a pair of calf high leather boots, all for GBP 56. Hahah. Was about to get a grey wool trenchcoat for another GBP 21, but i could just imagine JG's heart breaking upon seeing the bill.
quite a fruitful shopping trip i must say. i should limit my shopping trips... but then again, us girls can never have too many clothes. haha. and that goes for shoes too!
