china or vietnam, u choose

that was the threat uttered by my senior when trying to convince me to join the rest at New Asia Bar after the D&D.

yupz, J's first D&D. and it was crazy. everyone was more intent on getting everyone else drunk, instead of focusing on the food, as i so naturally tend to do. haha. mgrs and seniors kept coming to our table to toast us, under the guise that they're training us for future china trips. and it's always 'bottoms up'.

the pple on my team can drink like fishes lor. us yr 1s had a tough time getting adjusted. poor RC was forced to drink up many many times, the last count stood at 8 glasses of wine. i'm betting it's at least 12 glasses. he had to seek refuge at other tables. this is what happens when pple know u can drink. it didn't help that he was a guy. JY was another pitiful case. he didn't disclose that it was his first time drinking. it was only after his 6th glass that he told me. and then he disappeared for a good half hr or more. we had to send 2 guys to hunt him down. DO had to rest her head on the table after 2 glasses coz she was driving later.

i got the chance to test my alcohol limits, abt 4 glasses with relatively little side effects. just a lot of laughter, which my chauffeur for the night couldn't stand. haha. usually i'm a little wary of the amt of alcohol i consume. it's no fun getting caught drunk, doing and saying the most ridiculous things. J would rather avoid that nasty situation, thank you.

anyways, went for a late nite snack at macs and caught a movie at PS. JG seldom gets the car, it would be a pity to just let him off so lightly. haha. watched 'the perfect catch'. i was slightly out of it. the plot seemed pretty thin to me; guy who's nuts about baseball, so much so that it affects all his previous relationships, yet he found the girl he loved and was willing to give up his season seats coz of her. couldn't really connect with the characters. JG said he liked it though. apparently it's getting pretty good reviews. perhaps it's coz The Wedding Date set too high a standard. haha.

got home ard 4:30am. another late weekend night...
