one thing led to another
and it all went downhill...
just got back from having tau huay at the famous rochor road beancurd. forgot to bring my key out. so i stood at the gate and rang the doorbell.
*ding dong*
no one answered. no one gave any indication that they heard.
so i called for my younger sis.
'huimin?'
and she went 'huh?' but refused to budge from our room.
my mum came out of her room. and dad came out of the study room. the 3 of them just stood at the staircase landing discussing who should open the door. older sis didn't bother.
by now i was getting pissed.
to think i'd bought tau huay back for them.
walked all the way from rochor road to little india. took bus to Toa Payoh then change to MRT...
everything escalated and culminated in
- dad getting mad with younger sis who used the word 'idiot' on him in a moment of anger
- mum threatening to kick all of us out of the house
- younger sis sobbing
- older sis being forced to go mkting tmw
however we talked things out in the end and agreed it was a misunderstanding. everyone tried my painstakingly-bought tau huay. nothing ends a family dispute better than sharing a sweet dessert. heh.
lessons learnt:
having a good family is one of the greatest blessings anyone can have.
J will always bring her key. no matter how full her pockets. at most bring bag.

So cool new format!
Heh bring big big bag to contain ur keys. All 10 pairs of them.
Hey, this is so cool! New format for "leave your comment"... :)
Anyway Jean, we know what to get for your bday already! A big "refugee" bag with roller wheels at the bottom... you know the kind that people take when they become overnight refugees when the war breaks out. heh :P You can put your whole life there and migrate immediately.

J will hence proceed to become a bag lady, bringing everything including the kitchen sink whenever she leaves the house.
Wah.. that can form one half-an-hour sitcom.. hehe.. sad to say.. I'm also one of those who refuses to open up! I just hate it when you can open yourself and you must get people to open for you just because you are too lazy to bring the key.. not you lah.. i mean the person who made me open the door.. so usually i'll get my sis to open :P - binn
(i know i'm slow in realising this but) Wa! New comments Format!
