memories...

what do you do with memories?

something abt celine in before sunset really reflects a part of myself. that particular scene in the car when both of them know that they're about to part for the second time. and celine's unloading her feelings about her current situation. how reading jesse's book brought back memories of the night. memories that she had otherwise packed away in drawers and left them alone. how she doesn't get into a relationship that easily. because each failed relationship leaves her with a scar and how she never forgets each person she's been with because they're all so different. how each and every person is unique with their own quirky characteristics. and no one can ever totally replace another.

was given a belated bdae pres in the form of a wmv file. consisted mainly of old photos taken and a familiar song. the thing is, i'd already filed all the memories away and even forgotten a few details along the way. perhaps that is why memories shouldn't be packed away and forgotten. they have to be taken out every once in a while and have the dust blown off their covers. memories should be relived from time to time.

after all, aren't we basically made up of our memories?
