more cerveza anyone?

the exams are looming, and yet the 3 of us are still oblivious to that fact. wed was spent watching before sunset, gossiping in sch and then back to orchard for some shopping in zara. fri was spent having lunch at crystal jade, shopping shopping shopping at forever21, mango, isetan... then it was back to sch for the black comedy production put up by the modern theatre studies class and later, dinner/ supper at newton complete with sambal stingray, bbq chicken wings, cockles and beer.

haha. mi BLest amiga is definitely one big spender man. she bought a suit, jacket, pants and skirt, all without batting an eyelash. but they really do look good on her. very stylish. es guapa! heh. i bought a pair of pants from mango, love the cutting, kinda slack but yet not too slouchy looking. good thing wl never managed to buy the dress she wanted for shereen's wedding, there're many other tube dresses ard tt looked much better.

anyway, faith wanted a review of before sunset. heh. i really really enjoyed the movie. even though it was really low budget i.e. no action, sound effects, etc, the simplicity of the movie was arresting. nothing happens... they just spend one whole afternoon talking. and yet, the movie reaches out and grabs you. you're reeled in by how natural it all seems. it's like spending time with two friends, eavesdropping on their conversation. topics ranged from the simple stuff like 'how are you doing?' to deep meaningful statements like 'memories are a good thing if you don't have to deal with the past'. the whole flow of the movie was captivating. you have to go catch it! i give it 5 popcorns out of 5! best movie i've seen in a long time. seriously contemplating getting the dvd. heh. oh! not to mention the lovely parisian scenery in the background. breathtaking! am so looking forward to being there myself. *winkz to faith and BLest amiga*

spanish oral exam is finally over and done with. we've been really working hard on it. and yet, the hrs spent conversing in spanish didn't seem like work to me. it entailed lots of laughter and jokes. now even wl knows how to say 'let's go to bed!' in spanish. how cool is that? heh. funny how studying for something you're interested in makes the subject much easier to cope with. oh well, last two acct papers to go and then i'm home free!
