10 long yrs...
got together with squadmates today to celebrate my b1's birthday. honestly, i was pretty surprised that she was able to make it as my b1's pretty much 'ms popular'. heh. it was a very simple affair, just going to crystal jade for dinner and coffee after.
our friendship is hard to pinpoint. we rarely delve into personal issues when we get together. in fact, the word 'bf' seldom comes up. it's like when we get together, we're transported back to the days when guys were practically non-existent. we mostly talk about the general stuff. and yet, these are the friends you are most comfy with, the friends whom you know will be there for you should you call and the friends you grow old with.
it's been 10 yrs since we stepped into sec sch with our nerdy plastic rimmed specs and looking super blur. 10 yrs of watching each other grow up and evolve into the adults we have become. 10 years of shared memories...
looking forward to our next sleepover. we'll be celebrating v-dae the good old-fashioned st nicks way, with little heartfelt notes and tiny gifts. boy do i miss those days.
yw: ask you ah, do u rem if i did anything for sb6 to celebrate vdae? jing insists i baked cookies but i don't think so.

COOKIES? Yeah right... it's Jeanette man! Hmm... But we all had to give something to each other's penpal in class remember? You gave me a painted blue box with glow in the dark stickers of the planets and shooting stars on it remember? And a.. what do you call it? furry ball with blue and white string all over it.
Haha, i still have it, it's on my bookshelf in my room, it now holds my leftover medicine that i used, and it's the only thing that glows in the dark in my room! :p
But wait a second, I think someone brought cookies and snacks. Did you? Haha... I tell you what. You go bake some cookies and pass some to me to sample, it may just jog my memory! yeah??
oh!!! THE FURRY BALL!!! i forgot all abt tt! was it called the friendship ball or sth? we all bought one each and exchanged strings to tie on each other's friendship balls rite? it was so cool! hahaha. i can't believe u still have it! heh, same goes for the glow in the dark box. hee. i love glow in the dark stuff. *grinz*
still grinning abt the furry ball thing 14 hrs later. hahahah. man... good thing u reminded me. i wonder where mine went. shucks!
