is it just me?

i realise i'm quite adverse to taking the initiative to make contact with friends. perhaps it's the fear of catching them in the wrong moment. or perhaps it's a more innate fear of rejection. it takes some effort for me to make a call just to say hi or even to double-click on a friend's name in MSN unless there is something more substantial to discuss.

am i the only one?
