the soundtrack of your life

okok i stole that line off SingSong, the production my BLest friend was involved in. so sue me for copyright infringement.

i have a bad habit of straining to hear the songs being played overhead in shopping centers and making a mental note if i happen to like them. then i go home and d/l the song to add to my slowly growing collection of mp3s. where do i d/l the songs u ask... heh. from kazaa... hahah i know i know, i've been told quite a few times that kazaa sucks. mainly coz it's so slow and most of the songs u d/l are scrambled, so all you hear are a few chords of the original song, and the next 3 mins consists of a ear-piercing high-pitched sound. but it's pretty alright for downloading oldies.

anyway, i believe most pple use songs to mark periods in their lives. everyone has experienced times when they hear familiar strains of a song and you're instantly reminded of a time in your life when the song aptly summed up how you felt. i've been trying to d/l songs like that. does anyone have 'i'll never break your heart' by Backstreet Boys? heh.
