hahah. i read that letter to ST yest morn as i was rushing off for class and i found it extremely amusing. i still rem the first time i heard about this taupok thing was from my B1's OG mate, ZY. hahah. it's one of the many weird things i learnt during my short time in ac.
anyway... it's true what mr brown says about why kids don't tell their parents stuff about their lives. s'porean parents tend to be too protective. i should know. my curfew still stands. if my parents knew everything i've dabbled in, i'd probably be grounded for life.
but sometimes, i wish i didn't have to hide stuff from them. it would be much better if they allowed me to make my own mistakes and learn from them instead of taking the strong patriarchial stand of forbidding me to take part in certain activities. maybe i need to learn from experience...
