a quick update

B1's complained about my recent lapse in blogging. and it's true. i haven't really blogged in a long time. i've forgotten how it feels like to sit down and ramble about my day, my thoughts for the day, how i feel, what i want to do; basically stuff about my life...

well... it's partially coz this no-life auditor hasn't had much time to come online to blog. office hrs are strictly off limits. and lately, office hrs have been taking up a big chunk of my life. perhaps it's a quarter life crisis that i'm going through. (haha, i picked up that term from cutest guy's nick a few months back.) but... J's been wondering if what she's become is really what she wants to be. it doesn't help that she can't seem to peer into the obscure future. all she wants to do now is get through this peak period.

of coz, as most of you know, it's not just work that's been taking up my time. being a gf is a full-time job i must say. not that i've been required to put in much effort. he's the one who's been sacrificing his time, energy and sleep. J's been thoroughly pampered. having someone wait for hours on end just to have dinner together before i rush back to the office, being sent home at 11pm after doing OT, getting thermos flasks of american ginseng drink, being able to voice my frustrations and vent to someone. and despite the sweet gestures, this guy makes me laugh for hours on end. don't ask me why but he tickles my funny bone. yupz, i'm really thankful for everything.

okie, enough with the mushiness. J's going off to China soon. i'm leaving on the 14th dec and will be gone for 3 wks. yupz. my 2nd work trip. Shanghai, here i come! provided i don't freeze my butt off. this girl's terrified of catching a cold while on a work trip. pray for me. but i'm grateful for the company that i'm going along with. and i'm hoping we get to do a bit of shopping. christmas and new yr in shanghai... wat can i say? it's gonna be an experience. haha.
