touching base

another spontaneous, impromptu outing with cranberry. the sort we get a kick out of. heh. we finally fulfilled our long time dream of buying food from ichiban at great world city. the pair of us met up in city hall and shuttle bus-ed our way down to get our handrolls and california maki.

as was our usual style, we rushed to check the shuttle bus schedule for the next bus to take us out of great world before speedily walking to ichiban to pick up our foodstuff and dropping by crystal jade. and then we took the shuttle bus back to city hall. hahah.

it was a cool, breezy spot where we settled down outside the esplanade. there we were, happily settled down with our food and philosophical chit chat, with a view of the singapore river and the nightscape of s'pore. we shared past memories, reminsced about uni life, discussed the present and dreamed about the future.

a great way to spend a balmy monday evening...
