a minor scare
was planning to go check out faith's toastmaster's speech yest followed by supper at newton. however, those plans were squashed the moment i received a call from my younger sis saying that my dad was admitted to TTSH. everyone rushed home and mum drove to the hospital after dinner. praise God it wasn't serious. a viral infection.
and it's from incidents like this that you realise how much friends care. i told just von w to apologise for cancelling my plans with her and elaine. and yet the news reached the rest of the squad and they got all worried and concerned about the whole situation. and faith was chasing me to go home the second she heard the news. wish i could have heard your speech man. the topic you touched on is one close to my heart *winkz*
now my dad's back in the house after a night in the ward. it was pretty obvious that he was back to normal when the moment he stepped into the house, he turned to my younger sis and said 'did you see the A level results? there are pple with 228 scoring 4 As.' yeah, that's my dad. u can take the teacher out of the school, but you can't take the school out of the teacher. heh.
