CNY day 2

lessons learnt:
1) eating chocs will cause your teeth to fall out. (4 yr old louis who possesses wisdom beyond his yrs)
yeah, so all u chocoholics out there beware. louis has spoken.

2) at CNY gatherings, always stake out your territory and don't budge. no matter what.
i left my seat to go get a drink and missed out on an aunt giving out ang baos. younger sis was way smarter, she made me get the drinks for her.

3) you'll always be forced to mingle
'come talk to XXX, he/she is also (insert similarity you might share)'

4) if you're the bro of an ACS boy, you're never too young for gel
4 yr old joshua arrived with slicked hair.

5) goodlook gel sucks
joshua's hair was back to being fluffy after a couple of runs around the house

6) that as your little cousins grow bigger, you're just growing older...
'what??? u're in J1 already??!!'

7) and when your younger cousin keeps insisting that he's growing old, you are growing even older
C: 'sigh! i'm already 20 yrs old...'
J: 'hallo, i'm 22 lor! thanks a lot...'

8) i look like i'm lying when i'm actually not
they found it hard to believe my wide-eyed, innocent, vehement protesting 'no, i do not have a bf' look.

Talk about being old: What about a case when you coyly put the age as 22, to have kids encouraged by mums to practise their maths whenever and wherever, accusing you of lying, that you should be 23 after getting ur birth year from you.

hahahaha. cranberry got accused of lying abt her age?? i can just imagine... 'jie jie bluff us one! she's supposed to be 23. then why she say 22? pretending to be younger ah?' hahahaha.

ernie, u mean ur dad asked u in private? so funny. and why was he relieved? thought most parents can't wait for pple our age to get attached. now they start worrying abt us being left on the shelf. ahahaha.

d, u're missing out on all the action man. yeah, by action, i mean ang baos. heh.

No Lah! This just two independent sentences put together one after another with the illusion tat it was my dad who asked.
