another 6 rounds p.f.
feeling super accomplished in the past 24 hrs. yeah, it only starts from 1015 yest morn. had spanish compo before that, where you're supposed to write a dialogue. and i wouldn't call asking the waiter to give you la cuenta (the bill), and ending up asking to be given la puerta (the door) i.e. 'can you give me the door?', an accomplishment. yeah yeah. laugh ur heads off. i didn't have a dictionary ok! it wasn't allowed. hmph.
anyway, i'm proud to say tt i have jogged a total of 12 rounds in the past 24 hrs. probably not a big deal to u superfit people out there. but it's a personal accomplishment. did 6 rounds on the treadmill in the gym con mi BLest amiga yest, and 6 rounds at bishan stadium with my younger sis this morn. a thought occured to me on both occasions: am i jogging so much coz i'm running away from sth?
note to selvi, faith, wl, etc: dun go gym with ernie. she's even more slack than me. i was doing the rowing machine and she just sat there to talk to me. hehe.
anyway, after gym yest, we went to jack's place to satify my craving for bistec con patatas. and then on to hmv where ernie bought 2 vcds. i was searching for before sunrise (the prequel) but it wasn't in stock. the dvd to before sunset (sequel) was out but it cost $52! bleah. gonna wait for vcd to be released. but... i found the before sunrise vcd at plaza sing. yay!! it was on sale for 2 for $15. so i bought frida too. it was either that or legally blond 2, which seemed a tad too fluffy. lent them to selvi coz i predicted a pretty busy wkend. but i am looking forward to watching before sunrise! heh.
after that we watched 'bad education', my first R21 film. haha. got our i/cs checked somemore. we must have been looking really gina (kiddish). every character in the movie is screwed up. it's all abt gay men and transvestites. but i kinda enjoyed being able to pick out spanish phrases. like 'querida enrique, creo que....' pretty much the whole spanish gang was there: hf, cherish, selvi y BLest amiga. it so happened that ernie and i were wearing red and green respectively. then cherish came along in an orange top. we just had to take a 'traffic light' pic.
and then it was on to SAM, to check out the russel wong exhibition. nice! Blest amiga and i were initially too tired to do anything other than to sit on the benches in the middle of the exhibition space. however, we got up in the end. and it was nice shadowing wl, who'd been there with her arts class previously and was shown ard by the man himself! learnt a thing or two abt the highly acclaimed photographer.

finale to the busy busy day was drinks at chijmes. we met up with shyn. really nice place. very chillout. can't rem the name of the place we went to, but the garlic mushrooms were good! and my cafe latte was pretty good, lotsa milk with just a slight hint of coffee. yes, no alcohol for me last nite. (occassional swigs from other pple's beer isn't counted.) i'm such a good girl. haha.
took lotsa pics yest. every single acct yr 4 student is busy taking pics so we have something to add to the yearbook. we were threatened that our matric/oasis mugshots would be used if we didn't submit anything. they sure know how to hit where it hurts the most. heh.
