my very own blog

heh, created my own blog just for the fun of it. i'm not too sure if it'll be updated regularly. so don't count on it! haha. anyways, i have to say that the two pple who were the inspiration for this blog is wl and the BLest friend. been reading their blogs for the past few months and decided i should start up my own too. but then again, this might just be a passing phase i'm going through and i might just get tired of this.

hmm... perhaps i should start with blogging about my day yest. basically i screwed up my spanish composition. got my grammar wrong and i actually resorted to copying phrases of the phrasebook section in my dictionary, which i am sure is totally illegal. yeah, i have this nagging fear that Glenn will call me up for a personal consultation and ask me why i haven't been putting effort into spanish. well, i did try, but my brain was pretty much out of it. forgot all the grammatical rules that i should have had at the back of my hand by now. oh well...

went for the wine appreciation course with wl at hotel rendezvous. the main fun i had was eating the cheese. that was in between bouts of trying to sniff out the different aromas present in the various wines we tried. 'yeah i smell something alright. i smell alcohol.' sheesh. i suppose i'll be sticking to grape juice instead, with the exception of sweet dessert wine. the riesling wine we tried was pretty good. nice and fruity, its sweetness masks the 13% alcoholic content, which can go up to 16% in some dessert wines. so guys, if u're trying to get a girl drunk, dessert wines are the way to go.

been watching episodes of 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy', thanks to shereen who has been faithfully downloading the series. it's pretty interesting i would say. the way they transform ordinary straight men, make the most of what they have, infuse in them some fashion, culture and culinary skills, and viola, totally transformed new man. the othe halves of these transformed men are usually too shocked for words. hmm... but one of the reasons why it's so interesting is because the fab 5 act so typically gay, with the bubbly effervescence that is rarely found in straight men. sigh...

lesson learnt from wine appreciation: i'm purely a social drinker. yeah. either that or i drink to get high. no me gusta cerveza y vino.
